What it does

A school chemistry project. You enter an element, and elconf draws its electron configuration into a PNG file.

I wrote it in three days in June 2023. It uses three libraries that I wrote: libpttui, libperiodic-c, and libpel, which draws the image.

My design notes for the drawing:

012332 px
fig. 01 · shell i: radius = (i + 1) · 8 px
fig. 02 · electron j of n on shell i: (sin θ, cos θ) · 8(i + 1), θ = j · 360°/n · potassium
fig. 03 · libpel circle: a pixel is on when |dx² + dy² − r²| < r

Why it is here

It shows how I worked at 15. For a small school task, I wrote three libraries first.
